Te Āhuru Mōwai is running a Recycled Art Competition just for tamariki aged 5 to 15 — and we’d love to see what you can create using things you’ve already got at home.

How to enter:

Find Your Materials

Look around your whare and gather items that would normally go in the bin — cardboard, plastic bottles, old magazines, bottle caps, cereal boxes, fabric scraps… the possibilities are endless!

Create Your Masterpiece

Let your imagination run wild! Make an animal, a robot, a cool landscape — whatever you dream up. Cut, glue, paint, and piece it together however you like.

Snap a Photo

Once you’re done, take a clear photo of your artwork (show off those awesome angles!).

Submit Your Artwork

Email your photo to communications@teahurumowai.co.nz or text it to 022 700 0165.

Or, pop into our office with your artwork and we’ll take the photo for you.

Prize:

The winner will score a Fun Day Out at Archie Brothers with their whānau — including mini golf, game credits, and kai!
