Relocatables Update
In 2022, Te Āhuru Mōwai faced the loss of two properties in a fire. This was a devastating blow for both the tenant whānau and the wider community. However, amidst the tragedy, we saw an opportunity.

Tamariki Day at the Pools
During the April School Holidays, Te Āhuru Mōwai hosted "Tamariki Day at the Pool" which was a huge success with 34 tenant tamariki and Rangatahi (aged 3-16) in attendance.
The day was filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of swimming as the tamariki enjoyed playing in the pool and indulging in some delicious free kai together. The highlight of the event was the water safety and survival skills session led by our partners Dash Swim School and Splash Save. The instructors made learning these important skills both informative and enjoyable for all the tamariki.
Community Engagement Hui Update
Kia ora koutou! We're thrilled to share the success of our recent community engagement hui held in March and April across Tawa, Takapūwāhia, and Titahi Bay. It was an incredible opportunity for our kaimahi to connect with over 60+ tenant whānau, listening to their voices and suggestions.
