This Father's Day weekend, we’re celebrating all our amazing kaimahi Fathers who bring their dedication, strength, and aroha to everything they do—both at work and at home. We celebrate and honour you for the vital role you play in shaping your whānau and our communities.

This past Saturday, some of our tenant whānau had the incredible opportunity of being a part of the Steven Adams Camp! The tamariki and rangatahi had an absolute blast, and the feedback we got was nothing short of awesome.

Last week, Te Āhuru Mōwai had the pleasure of hosting Frances and Jacob from Tipene Funerals at our offices. It was a great opportunity to discuss the needs of our tenant whānau, which sometimes includes the services of Frances, Kaiora and their team.

In 2022, Te Āhuru Mōwai faced the loss of two properties in a fire. This was a devastating blow for both the tenant whānau and the wider community. However, amidst the tragedy, we saw an opportunity.

Kia ora e te whānau! 🖐️🌟 It's New Zealand Sign Language Week, and here at Te Āhuru Mōwai, we've been diving into the world of NZSL with enthusiasm! 💬🤟

During the April School Holidays, Te Āhuru Mōwai hosted "Tamariki Day at the Pool" which was a huge success with 34 tenant tamariki and Rangatahi (aged 3-16) in attendance.

The day was filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of swimming as the tamariki enjoyed playing in the pool and indulging in some delicious free kai together. The highlight of the event was the water safety and survival skills session led by our partners Dash Swim School and Splash Save. The instructors made learning these important skills both informative and enjoyable for all the tamariki.

Kia ora koutou! We're thrilled to share the success of our recent community engagement hui held in March and April across Tawa, Takapūwāhia, and Titahi Bay. It was an incredible opportunity for our kaimahi to connect with over 60+ tenant whānau, listening to their voices and suggestions.
