Wellington Phoenix Whānau Experience

Earlier this year, Te Āhuru Mōwai had the opportunity to take tenant whānau along to a Wellington Phoenix game for a fun night out together.

The experience gave tamariki and whānau the chance to enjoy live football, connect with other whānau, and be part of the exciting atmosphere at Sky Stadium. For many of our tamariki, it was their first time attending a professional sporting event.

Alongside the game, whānau also enjoyed match-day activities, entertainment, and kai, helping make the night a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Opportunities like this are an important way for Te Āhuru Mōwai to support whānau wellbeing, create positive experiences for tamariki, and strengthen community connections outside of the home environment.
